Area of Research

Description of Research Interest

The aim is to develop better treatment for leukemia and lymphoma through improved molecular understanding:

=10pt=11.0ptOur research aims to advance the understanding of molecular and genetic lesions in the pathogenesis of blood cancer subtypes and use this understanding to exploit it therapeutically in clinical care. Over the last years, our group has focused on understanding the governing principles underlying drug response and developed practice changing use of novel drugs in blood cancer. Our research group uses high-throughput drug screening and omics-profiling to leverage precision medicine in blood cancer with a strong focus on lymphoid malignancies.
To achieve our goals, we cooperate closely with basic scientists and data scientists which enables us to leverage technological advances and large patient cohorts to discover and cooperate.
