Description of Research Interest

My scientific work primarily encompasses the fields of preventive dentistry as well as material and practice-related developments in restorative dentistry. Thus, is covers a broad field in dentistry that is of direct importance for dental work on a high number of patients and which has led to the development of new treatment concepts. Some of these are improvements of oral hygiene measures with reduced risk of dental hard tissue destruction and the implementation of innovative approaches to restore erosively worn teeth or carious lesions with modern adhesives techniques and materials.
